Movie Story
In Shifters & Grifters 5, David Jones turns his attention toward Capt. Steve Hampton and a police unit whose aggressive reputation may be hiding something more disturbing. When Marcus King claims thousands of dollars vanished during his arrest, David begins following a trail that leads to another missing-cash complaint, a deadly narcotics raid, and evidence that official police records may not tell the whole story.
As David closes in, the investigation becomes less about whether the suspects committed crimes and more about whether the people enforcing the law decided that guilt gave them permission to become criminals themselves. What begins as a question about missing money ultimately exposes a much deeper corruption, forcing Hampton into a confrontation where his own beliefs become the evidence against him.
